Abstract: Administrative and public buildings are important components of modernized mines. They are not only symbol buildings but also presenting carriers of enterprise culture. Design of administrative and public building area in Balasu Mine adopts a clear structure of “two main axis and one auxiliary axis” in planning in accordance with existing topography of elevation difference in 3.7m. By use of an integrated design method, it brings the area into a harmonious, organic, complete and unified system in overall layout, building image and scenery space.
